Four women, one vision
About us
Who we are
A host family with a history
Oskar25 is not just another anonymous hotel project.
It is the continuation of a family history.
Our mother and grandmother was the first woman in the region to have an office building constructed here. Today, we – daughters and grandchildren – are continuing on this path and transforming the building into an aparthotel to meet the demands of our time.
With Oskar25, we are creating spaces for:
- Business travelers, who seek reliability
- Students, who need peace and focus
- Travelers, who want to combine city life with nature
Our approach remains the same as it was back then:
Thinking boldly ahead and creating spaces that connect people.

What we stand for
A temporary home – with integrity
Our guests are at different stages of life, but they often seek the same thing:
- Flexibility during their stay
- Peace and focus in everyday life
- Clear processes without friction
- More space than a traditional hotel room
That’s why Oskar25 isn’t a place for quick stopovers or loud parties.
It’s a place for people who want to be productive, seek peace and quiet, and at the same time be part of a vibrant environment.

Where it will go
Our view of the future
Over the next five to ten years, Oskar25 is set to embody a true pioneering spirit in the face of change. What was once agricultural land became an office building – today, it is being transformed into a temporary home for people in various stages of life.
The building combines continuity and change. For generations, female leadership has shaped its development: courageous, pragmatic, and solution-oriented.
Oskar25 is aimed at students, project workers, and business travelers, while also demonstrating how existing buildings can be reimagined. Vacant space becomes a vibrant space that brings people together.
Inspired by Oskar Messter, this creates a place that connects the past and the future – an aparthotel that demonstrates how change can be shaped in a meaningful and sustainable way.

The story of Oskar Messter
A pioneer of film – and inspiration for our house
The name Oskar25 is a tribute to the German film pioneer Oskar Messter, who is considered one of the most important pioneers of early film history. At the end of the 19th century, Messter was among the first people to recognize the potential of the moving image – long before cinema became an integral part of our culture.
Born in Berlin, he developed a keen interest in technology, optics, and photography at a young age. At a time when film was still an experiment, he began developing cameras, building projectors, and setting up his own film studios.
